ALCHEMIA's construction began on 10th October 2011.
Gdańskie Wydawnictwo Oświatowe - one of the most reputable educational publishers in Poland moved its headquarters to ALCHEMIA in Gdańsk. GWO leased in ALCHEMIA over 2.500 sqm occupying the highest floors in the Aurum building.
By 17th January 2014 office space lease ratio in ALCHEMIA reached almost 70%. The investment's developer, Torus company, also officially confirmed the beginning of ALCHEMIA's second stage construction.
The multi-functional complex of ALCHEMIA that combines office space and leisure functions was officially opened on 17th January 2014. Torus as a developer of ALCHEMIA officially announces the start of construction of the II stage of investment, heralding further innovative solutions.
The sports and leisure area has been opened in ALCHEMIA on 2 January 2014.
Wide range of services offered by Aquastacja, Fitstacja and Sportstacja includes:
- 25-meter, six-lane swimming pool;
- Aqua Zumba, Aqua Aerobics, Hydro Aqua, Aqua Fitness and Aqua Cycling classes;
- swimming pool for babies and children.
The last investment of Torus, a multifunctional complex - Alchemia, received the occupancy permit on 5th December 2013. From 2nd January 2014 the sport and leisure center will be launched on more than 4 600 sqm. It will offer a full-size swimming pool, gym, fitness rooms, sports hall and climbing zone. The first tenants will move into Alchemia in February 2014. Also in February on over 500 sqm a restaurant with daily function of the canteen offering 4 kitchens of the world will be opened.
In October 2013 yet another lease agreement was signed. Kemira, the Finnish company operating in the global chemical industry opened the European business services center in Gdansk, renting 2600 square meters and occupying thereby two floors in Aurum office tower. The agreement is concluded for 7 years.
It is a pleasure to inform that our investment ALCHEMIA II was awarded by U.S. Green Building Council with LEED pre-certification at the highest possible level - PLATINUM. We have been rewarded with this prestigious pre-certificate by reaching 87 points. ALCHEMIA II received the highest score in Poland so far. The project was evaluated in the following categories:

4. Materials and resources
5. Indor environmental quality
6. Innovation in design
7. Regional priority credits
Between 12-15 March 2013 the International Real Estate Fair MIPIM took place. Apart from the Expo Real organized in Munich, Trade Fairs in Cannes are the largest in Europe. The participants of the fair were the key real estate market players such as developers, investors, architects, hotel groups and local governments. During four days, the participants had the opportunity to attend 60 thematic conferences on the assessment of the situation in global real estate market and development opportunities of the global economy.
On 9th November 2012 on the roof of AURUM's (8-storey tower) and PLATINUM's (6-storey tower) office towers, a traditional roof tree was hung. It means that the first phase of multifunctional complex rising in Gdańsk has reached the top point. The views from both towers will definitely make the time at work pleasant.
On 9th October 2012 in the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw an award for ALCHEMIA building has been granted. The investment has been awarded by Polish Green Building Council as 'The most ecologic building with pre-certification (LEED, DGNB, BREEAM Interim Stage)'. The main aim of the competition is to honor all construction objects and interiors representing the value of sustainable buildings and taking care of an interesting architectural form at the same time. Such investments are a worthy of imitation example of designing, constructing and using of the buildings.
